So it wasn't quite a full moon yet but this was attempt number 3 to see Cameron Lake during a full moon (it was only 1.5 days away...so close enough). But we headed out after I worked and had a glorious view of the Lake and Mt. Custer. The weather has been warmer of late so the skiing was terrible but the views were great. I'll let the pictures explain the rest.
On our way over the first couple rolling hills looking toward Forum Ridge |
Tried a shot to get the moon in it |
Almost at the lake |
Had my tripod for a few shots, but some were just shots by just holding camera really still |
Can never get sick of this view |
Love Orion's belt in the top left corner |
Tried a long exposure shot looking up with the headlamp |
Looking down with the head lamp looked better |
Tried a shot again to get the moon in the picture |
One final shot |
Heading back |
That is my shadow from the moon light, crazy |
