Table Mountain Scout Camp August 7, 2008

This was my very first overnight scout camp as a leader.  I figured we could go and camp in Castle River Falls campground and then get up the next morning and hike Table Mountain.  It was a wise choice as the boys had a blast and it was a good time.  The hike is fairly demanding as it is pretty steep at parts but the length of the hike is not to long.

On our way through the steep part

Resting overlooking a beautiful vista

I suppose we "really" didn't summit Table mountain as that is the actual true summit over there

The layers of rock are impressive

What the cliff looks like while looking down

Looks like a storm was going to come in so we headed down, but there was no rain

This is the approximate path we took
