We had been camping at Castle Falls Campground for a few days and decided to do a sunset hike and Carbondale hill wasn't far away and wasn't that difficult. So we headed up and got a beautiful sunset from the top. This fire lookout is still active and we said hi to the lady who was up there. I got a great view of the mountains to the west especially Darrah. I will say I think I prefer the sky on the sunrise over the sunset.
