Bellevue Hill August 28, 2014

Since I had done the Tamarack Trail with my two oldest kids my third oldest was complaining so I decided to do an over night adventure with him.  So we drove up and camped at the Crandell Campground and stayed a night there, then got up in the morning and tackled the Bellevue Hill, not very difficult, but the views from the top were spectacular.  It was a foggy morning to start and as we headed higher the fog began to disperse.  It was quite beautiful coming out of the fog and seeing Blakiston and other peaks rising out of the fog.

In the fog on the way up

Rising above the fog Mt. Blakiston

Mt. Crandell

Fog clearing more on Blakiston

Ruby Ridge starting to show through the fog now

The fog clearing down to where we started

Almost gone

He took lots of coaxing but he made it

Getting really steep but beautiful view of Mt. Crandell

Looking down on Crandell Campground in the valley

The fog moved out over the prairies

Galwey now visible

Made it to the top looking east tot he prairies

Looking west towards Blakiston and Galwey

Ridge between Galwey and Rogan or Dungarvan SE2

His happy dance
